Validating identity on wireless connection
As long as you use the same options for both, you should be fine. WPA-TKIP or WPA-PSK is typically the names for personal WPA. My problem was not actually answered by the TP-LINK technical support staff. Are you receiving an endless "Validating Identity" connection status when trying to connect to a wireless network.
When setting up WPA you will see the option for either a radius server (Enterprise, and you see this in the corporate environment) or a place to enter a passphrase (Pre Shared Key, PSK).
Then if your operating system is windowsxp please follow the attachment to have a try.(they sent me a file attachment with the email) If your operating system is vista please refer to
id=214 I have also seen WPA - Enterprise as just WPA.
If your network is Encrypted go on to step 6 otherwise Click ok and try to connect to your network again.
In this window make sure you are in the "Association" tab.
